Services We Offer, Part 1
Delta Disaster Services is a restoration company with a lot to offer. One of the challenges that people sometimes have with Delta is remembering all the services we offer. My usual response is: “if it has to do with your home, we can likely do it.” To elaborate, we’re posting today about the various services for which you can call us. This post is only part 1 in the series. Look for additional posts on this subject in the near future.
Asbestos Abatement (and testing): we will have a specific blog post on asbestos at a later date, but know that just because your home was built after 1978 does not mean that your home is guaranteed asbestos-free. Don’t believe us? Check out this website on
We do not do asbestos testing (as it would be a conflict of interest), but we can facilitate the testing for you. And if needed, we can abate. Believe us, this is a subject that every homeowner should take seriously.
Contents Restoration: when a home is affected by dirty water (such as from a sewage loss), fire, or mold, the contents of a person’s home can also be damaged. Restoring contents is a big job. It involves moving the contents from the home to our shop, cleaning said contents (when possible), and bringing the contents back to the home.
Think of moving twice, with cleaning in between. This service alone makes Delta extremely valuable to anyone, as the contents of a person’s home are often just as important to them as the home itself. If contents can be saved, we will save them.
Mold Remediation: we’ve been posting a little more about mold remediation recently. It is a commonly needed service in the Grand Junction area (despite our lack of humidity). Mold should be treated with great care. Can self-remediation be performed on mold? Yes. Should it be? Probably not. The last thing you want to do with mold is to disturb a mold colony and spread mold spores through your entire home.
