Our Construction Manager
Lance Cattarello is our construction manager at Delta, with a background in construction that began as a teenager when his parents bought a farmhouse and started to remodel it themselves. During that process he said he learned a little bit about framing drywall, electrical, and through that process, “just kind of got hooked.” While he pitched in with the remodel process he learned and began to enjoy the process “because of the gratification… from seeing something go from a rough, old, beat-up place to new and fancy. You know that progression of building something and creating something with your own hands and mind.” He’s since worked with properties from aspects of property management to new construction.
He’s done concrete construction, building foundations from tiny sheds all the way up to multi-million-dollar houses across the valley. He’s also worked in a truss manufacturing plant, at Lowe’s, and at Home Depot. He’s owned his own flooring company, and installed elevators in high-end homes. Lance made his way to Delta when one of his former employees picked his brain about coming to the new company in town. Restoration was new to him, but the rebuild after mitigation was finished, was easy to pick up.
Lance is not only highly knowledgeable of his field, but highly compassionate for the people he serves. When asked what he likes most about his job, he said: “The opportunity to help people in need in a time of disaster. To bring hope and joy back into their lives from kind of a hopeless, unexpected situation. It’s really fulfilling to me to help people and see the look on their face when we’re done. Getting to move back into their house, helping to bring a bad situation back to life.”
