Delta Restoration Services and All Hands and Hearts Part 2
Delta Restoration Services and All Hands and Hearts Part 2
Back in August, we talked a little bit about Delta Restoration Services’ partnership with All Hands and Hearts. All Hands and Hearts is a nonprofit program that helps with disaster relief. (If you’re interested, take a look at our blog post here.) All Hands and Hearts is a volunteer-powered relief program that helps communities recover from disasters like floods, earthquakes, and tsunamis. In today’s article, we wanted to give you a few more details about our partnership. We also want to talk about how it helps local communities and what we’re doing to help. We’re incredibly proud of the partnership between Delta Restoration Services and All Hands and Hearts, and Part 2 of this series will give you a few more details. We’re so excited to work with All Hands and Hearts, and we can’t wait to tell you about our plans.
A Little About All Hands and Hearts Part 2
But before we get into the details, let’s talk about All Hands and Hearts and what they do. All Hands and Hearts is a nonprofit that works with local communities and restoration contractors after a disaster to help them rebuild. They have disaster relief programs in Puerto Rico, Texas, and Florida, though their international projects have a broader scope. They’ve helped with disaster relief everywhere from Larimer County in Colorado to the Philippines. And because of their work, Charity Navigator has ranked them nationally in the top 10% of charities. Their goal isn’t just to rebuild communities. Their goal is to make those communities stronger so that they can prevent damage from disasters in the future. Using response, recovery, resilience, and renewal, All Hands and Hearts has already launched 109 programs and rebuilt 259 schools in disaster-stricken areas.
In Part 2 of this series, we also wanted to talk about what Delta Restoration Services and All Hands and Hearts are doing as a part of their partnership. We’re excited to say that for every new restoration project that the many Delta Restoration Services locations take on, those locations will be making donations to All Hands and Hearts. This means that for every project we start in Grand Junction, Delta Restoration Services will donate to All Hands and Hearts. The same is true of every single Delta Restoration Services location across the United States. This fundraiser began on November 1st and will last until Giving Tuesday on December 3rd. Donating to this amazing cause is our way of showing gratitude for our many communities. We’re so excited to be able to help.
How Delta Restoration Services Can Help
Delta Restoration Services operates in 40 different markets across 15 states. That's why believe that this partnership will help raise well-deserved money for a wonderful organization. Gina Deave, the director of corporate relations for All Hands and Hearts, talked a little bit about our partnership. “Delta Restoration Services is dedicated to providing world-class, compassionate restoration and reconstruction services to property owners who have suffered a loss, so this partnership is a natural fit,” she said. “We’re so grateful for corporate partners like Delta Restoration Services and thankful for their support—it allows us to execute on our mission.” This partnership will allow us to help an organization that helps people in need, and we’re doing it by donating every time we help someone in our communities. What better way is there for us to show our gratitude and appreciation?
Mike Mastous, the founder and president of Delta Restoration Services, also talked about our partnership. He explained why these two programs are a perfect match. “All Hands and Hearts provides essential programs to communities that have been devastated by natural disasters, which aligns with Delta’s mission of helping to restore people’s property as well as their lives when they suffer damage to their home or business.” He also said that there’s no better time for it. “With the rate of natural disasters rising so rapidly,” he said, “we decided now was the time to initiate a partnership with the right organization to get more involved in supporting this cause and begin giving back in a bigger way. We’re honored to partner with a top-rated organization like All Hands and Hearts, and eager to raise funds for them to help the communities that need it the most.”
Delta Restoration Services and All Hands and Hearts Are Fighting Rising Disasters
And he’s right, too. The rate of natural disasters has been rising recently; the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said that the cost of disaster relief in the U.S. totaled to $91 billion. That’s why it’s so incredibly important for us to give back to our communities. It’s also why every branch of Delta Restoration Services is helping to raise money for All Hands and Hearts. If you’re interested in making a donation or if you want to help out, be sure to check out our campaign page here. And if you’d rather get involved firsthand than make a donation, be sure to check out the All Hands and Hearts website here. We think that working with this organization is a great way to give back. It’s also a great opportunity to help protect communities all around the world.
At Delta Restoration Services, our biggest goal is to ensure that people have peace of mind during uncertain times. We stand by this goal, and we do everything in our power to reach it. It’s not just something we say; whether you need to take care of fire damage, water damage, mold colonies, or even reconstruction, we can help. And we’re even going beyond just the services that we offer. Partnering with All Hands and Hearts allows us to help not only our community but communities all over the world. Wherever there’s a disaster, we want to make sure that we’re able to help. Partnering with All Hands and Hearts is our way of helping communities in Grand Junction and abroad. We couldn’t be prouder to be working with them, and we hope that you’re just as excited as we are.
