Delta In The News
Delta In The News
Delta Disaster Services has been getting some serious media exposure. Our goal is to be the expert for restoration services in Grand Junction and the Grand Valley. We also want to be the go-to source of information for insurance agents, plumbers, realtors, property managers, and homeowners. Delta in the news is giving us the opportunity to be exactly that.
If you haven’t seen, here are just a few of the recent videos Delta Disaster Services has been in for the news, YouTube, and local reviews:
Western Slope Now
Back in October, Delta Disaster Services teamed up with the Grand Junction Fire Department and Knott Labs (a forensic engineering firm) to bring some of the nation’s top education to the Grand Valley. We covered many aspects of fire damage, construction, fire hazards, and fire investigations. We also burned down two small structures and a car.
We had many insurance agents attend the Western Colorado Fire Summit. Matt Ehmann was one of those agents. Matt has attended almost every one of Delta Disaster Services’ continuing education courses for the past two years. He has obtained all 24 hours required by the state from our courses alone. Matt is also one of Delta Disaster Services’ biggest supporters.
A longtime friend of ours, Knott Labs is known worldwide for forensic engineering. They are the best of the best and helped us put on the 2018 Western Colorado Fire Summit. This event benefitted the Grand Junction Fire Department fire investigators, Grand Junction insurance agents, and local businesses to the Grand Valley.
Thanksgiving Fire Safety Tips
Our very own mitigation manager at Delta Disaster Services gave a short segment on cooking safety tips for the holidays. It’s not often that we get the chance to give tips directly to homeowners before a disaster happens at their property. We hope to do more news and media events like this in the future to connect with homeowners more often.
The Fruita Fire Department
And we will wrap up with a recent review written for us by the Fruita Fire Department. Frank, the Fruita Fire Department chief, is a good friend and big supporter of Delta Disaster Services.
“The Lower Valley Fire District has used Delta Disaster twice. Once to assist with the flooding of our station, and also to assist when a vehicle drove through the front of our building. Being in the emergency service industry and knowing that time is critical when securing a building, Delta has responded quickly and provided a professional product with a customer service attitude. Their "can do" approach to mitigation and construction is second to none.”
