How Delta Restoration Services determines job cost is a topic that’s come up a few times recently with various customers. It’s a widely unknown topic. Many insurance professionals are even in the dark as to why restoration companies charge what they do – which can be a problem since insurance agents are often the ones who refer our services. In this post we’ll briefly cover a few common complaints we hear, and how we determine job cost. In a later post we’ll also talk about what constitutes fair pricing in the home restoration industry (as determined by insurance companies).
This year the Delta franchise invited a brand-creation and development expert to our national franchise. Suzanne Tulien with Brand Ascension brought us her Brand DNA program. Together, we developed what we want Delta to be all about. Since Delta as a franchise is exploding with growth right now, we thought this was the perfect time to expand on who we are and what we want to offer to our customers.
Community involvement is a huge part of who we are at Delta Restoration Services. We started Delta to give back to our community. Plain and simple. Do we make a profit? Absolutely. We’re proud of the fact that we deliver such a high-quality service that people want to pay us. That means we can pay our employees, subcontractors, and business partners. But we are also very passionate about giving back to the community in other ways.
This October 17th, Delta Restoration Services will co-host the 2018 Western Colorado Fire Summit in Grand Junction. Fire summits are common on the Front Range, but this is the first event of its kind on the Western Slope. We hope to make this a yearly event for the community.
Five years ago in December the Milyard family signed their contract to launch Delta Restoration Services of Western Colorado. There have been many ups and downs to the new business venture, but today, the Grand Junction business is stronger than ever. To celebrate this five-year milestone we want to share some of the great things the Delta Western team has accomplished and how they’ve grown into 2018.
At our recent 2018 national convention for the Delta Franchise we talked about the values of our company. I know, sounds like a boring topic. I thought at first that we were in for a very long meeting. But the further we got into the meeting the more I realized that Delta’s values are extremely important for the people we work with. So, since you’re either a fan of Delta or you’re interested in seeing what we’re about before using us, this applies to you!
We are very happy to announce that Delta Restoration Services has been acquired by HRI (Harris Research, Inc). HRI has a proven track record of scaling franchises to the national level. Though our own franchise office in Grand Junction is not directly affected by the corporate acquisition, we are excited to partner with a company who can help scale the brand for us nationally.
2018 has been a big year for all of us at Delta Restoration Services. We’ve worked very hard to improve our level of customer service and to become the best water, fire, and mold restoration company in our area. We’ve had ups and downs. We’ve learned more about our industry and about the people that make up our team. Where we’re all strong and where we have opportunities to improve. We’ve worked hard. And our team was very excited to hear this year at our latest franchise convention that Delta Grand Junction wins franchise of the year!
